Third Sunday of Lent March 7, 2010

“IT MAY BEAR FRUIT IN THE FUTURE!”

Today marks the halfway point in our Lenten Journey of conversion; and are drawn more deeply into the mystery of God, the “I AM” who speaks to Moses from the burning bush yet nevertheless tirelessly tends and cares for us who sometimes take so long to bear fruit in our lives. Let us pray today for a spirit of repentance, that we may be more receptive to the nourishment that God gives us in this Eucharist and every day of our lives.
